An Autumn Walk
This past Monday, Oct. 6th, my DH and I set out for a walk along the Fox River near our home. It was a beautiful autumn day. Cool breezes but warm enough you only needed a light sweater at most. Before we reached the river we were treated to a spectacular sight of Red Tailed Hawks circling overhead, riding the thermals. At one time I was able to count eight of them. This picture DH managed to get five of them in the view finder. I'll be posting several images today to share with you some of the wonderful gifts both man and nature gave us as we enjoyed our stroll.
